We went on an incredible hike just past Santa Clara. We saw hundreds of
petroglyphs left from the Anasazi Indians who migrated through this area. Uncle John, our favorite guide, taught us many things about the Anasazi Indians and what the
petroglyphs represent. It was AWESOME!

Suicide cliff. This
petroglyphs is at the edge of a cliff. The toes facing north (toward heaven). Next is a bird like foot print symbol of flying followed by a man falling upside down. I am not sure if this was a religious ritual or not.

The sheep represent a group or a family. You can see two sheep followed by a wolf.

It was AWESOME!
